Changwon LG has clinched second place in the 2023-2024 regular season with a 10-game winning streak.

LG defeated the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis 86-85 on Thursday at Dongcheon Gymnasium in Ulsan, South Korea, in the first game of the 2023-2024 regular season.

Riding a 10-game winning streak, LG finished with a 35-17 record to clinch second place in the regular season and earn a direct ticket to the four-team playoffs.

LG's 10-game winning streak in the regular season was its first in more than nine years since January 2015.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Mobis, which has lost three straight games, sits in sixth place (25-26).

LG was led by Asem Marey with 23 points, 16 rebounds and six assists. Lee Jae-do added 20 points and Gutang had 12 points.

Yoo Yoo-sang also had an Altoran-like performance with seven points and three rebounds, including two three-pointers.

Hyundai Mobis was led by Gage Prim with 24 points and eight rebounds.

In the battle of the twin head coaches, 안전놀이터 older LG coach Cho Sang-hyun continued his dominance over younger brother Cho Dong-hyun with a 4-2 victory.

Trailing 58-67 heading into the final quarter, LG went on a tear behind the outside shooting of Yoo Yoo-sang and Yang Hong-seok.

In the final minute, Lee Jae-do scored five points, including a three-pointer, to pull within 82-81.

LG then went on to win the seesaw game, securing the 86-85 victory with Justin Gutang's basket with 42 seconds left in regulation.
